This privacy policy applies to our use of any and all data collected by us, or provided by you, in relation to your use of this website. Please read it carefully.

Your privacy

TND Creative is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy when using our website, and to following all the legal requirements to do so. We recognise privacy and data protection as a right, and we have a duty of care to those whose data we handle. Data is only collected and processed where it is necessary, and we will never rent, sell or otherwise make public your personal data.

Legislation

We handle personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.

The information we collect

We only hold information in order to fulfil our obligations to you and our legal and statutory obligations. Depending on how you use the site, that may include:

• When you ask us for a quote or send us a message: your name, email address, phone number and whatever you tell us about the work.
• When you place an order: your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery addresses, what you ordered and the artwork or wording you supplied. We keep order records for as long as we are required to for tax and accounting purposes.
• If you create an account: your name, email address, a securely hashed password, your saved addresses and your order history. You can see and change all of it under My account, and you can ask us to close the account at any time.
• If you run one of our shops: your name, email address and the details we need to pay you.
• Automatically: which pages were visited and roughly where in the country the visit came from, so we can see what people are looking for. This is not used to identify you.

Payments

Card payments are handled by Stripe, and PayPal payments by PayPal. Your card details go directly to them and are never stored on our website or seen by us. Both hold their own privacy policies covering what they do with that information.

Who else sees your information

We do not sell your data. We share it only where it is needed to do the job: with our payment providers to take a payment, with Royal Mail or a courier to deliver your order, with the supplier of a garment where an item is sent out on our behalf, and with our email and hosting providers who keep the site and our email running. Everyone we use is required to protect it and to use it only for the purpose we gave it to them for.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Ours do three things: keep you signed in, remember what is in your basket, and keep the site secure by checking that a form was submitted from a real page on this site. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.

You can block cookies in your browser settings. If you do, signing in and the basket will stop working, on this site and on most others.

Contact forms and email

When you send an enquiry through the website it is stored in our own system so we can answer it, and a copy is emailed to us. The site uses an encrypted connection, so what you type is encrypted before it leaves your browser.

Marketing emails

If you purchase from us, we may use your email address to send you information about similar products or services. You can opt out at any time by clicking unsubscribe in any email, and we keep a record of that so you are not contacted again.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop using it for marketing. Email info@tndcreative.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Data breaches

We will report any unlawful data breach to all relevant persons and authorities within 72 hours of the breach, if it is apparent that personal data stored in an identifiable manner has been taken.
